Stumbling around some conspiracy sites and trolling the comments sections, I discovered a term get thrown around by some random nutter. Rex 84. He spelled it “rex84” and passingly referred to it as a “supposed real-life concentration camp in the midwest”(sic) I did some further research, by which I mean I used Google, and found a wikipedia entry. Saying it has something to do with “concentration camps” is probably not far off the mark.
No evidence that it was adopted in any formal manner, but its still interesting to note that it was theorized and typed up as a contingency plan, though if it did have something to do with Central American intervention, then it was probably going to be something more akin to the rounding up of Japanese-Americans in the 40’s, only this time with Hispanics… and the Anti-War crowd.

Confession: I think about the end of the world. A lot. Probably more than the average person, though not more than non-average religious fanatic. Soooooo… middle-of-the-road amount of apocalyptic pondering. I would venture a guess and feel confident in saying my wife also ponders it quite a bit. This is not a treatise on our personal philosophy in regards to self-defense, though it kinda/sorta factors in here.
This social media thing is evil. I am serious. It’s not evil in a nefarious James Bond villain kind of way. It’s evil because of its almost cacophonous rancor created by the mass cluster-glut of media portals and personal delusions and ramblings. To me social media, along with the coming of the smartphone tech somehow met in this weird sociological/psychological crucible mind-womb and what was birthed was finally the internet made available for dummies. True dummies. The trailerpark had come to silicon valley and it was NOT GOING ANYWHERE. The concept of global connectivity has always fascinated me. From the Holonet of the Old Republic of the Star Wars canon, to the internet depictions in Shadowrun and William Gibsons Sprawl series the idea that humanity could transcend its barriers and link itself to push forward into the bright void of the future, but I was young and stupid and did not take into account the sheer decline in educational standards as well as the cheapening and wider proliferation of advanced net tech. Thus the Trailer park of Social Media. Of which the monster Facebook has officially fallen into. Just like the failed Myspace and Orkut systems. FB has become this mass integrated networking system. Its helped topple governments and politicians. And its the growing mass of in the moment, non-content, non-contextual crap. Hatred spewing Hatred on top of aborted ignorance afterbirth. Ack. G+ seems to at least be holding steady. Flames are getting closer to the powder keg every time I think about it.
